Wow.... This is one amazing song! I especially like the part "The Pacific" with the boy and Anette together. Gosh, it got me in tears. What kind of shocked me is the part where it hints towards Tuomas dying. I wouldn't be able to stand if he died! So (in the song), he dies and then it goes over to "Mother & Father" which means they welcome him in heaven, and that they will always love him, no matter what happened. There's so much more in the rest of the song, I could write a whole book about it. All I can say, it's one amazing song! One to never forget. I just hope Tuomas doesn't have any plans of dying soon. It would break my heart... |

Ow. Too bad this song didn't make Dark Passion Play. I heard it for the first time on Youtube, and it got me sad. It would've fit in nice with the rest of the album. Obviously, Nightwish didn't think so... ^^ I have no idea what this song is about. What I have noticed is that he mentioned the "Dead Boy" again, just like in "Dead Boy's Poem" and "For the Heart I once had" and "Romanticide". Just like the words "dying children" seem to return in lots of his songs. What they mean, I have no idea. But I'm sure they don't refer to Tuomas himself... I think.... |

I agree (once again) with LastoftheWilds. This song does not make me think of Tuomas and Tarja at all. Sounds to me like a Philosopher ran away with the Queen (because he loves her ^^) The pharaoh's wrath, is the curse that he's been given for running of with the Queen. "The burning beauty his tomb to die for." The philosopher realizes his love will be his death, but he doesn't give up. "Horizon`s swarming with death Run!" and "Caravan of the cursed Chasing him across the waves" This stands for the army that is chasing them, send by the Pharaoh. |

I agree with LastoftheWilds. This is song is more about the experiences of childhood that never come back again. 'Dreambound for life'. Quite self-explanatory. This song did make me cry, at: "Rocking chair without a dreamer A wooden swing without laughter Sandbox without toy soldiers Yuletide without the Flight" I'll always love Tuomas for this song. For ALL his songs. I like how in the end it sort of goes into one of those Gospel Choirs. And Anette is doing one hell of a good job! Great voice. |

"Hey Judas, your Christess was our love" Well, Judas obviously refers to Marcelo, and Christess is Tarja. Marcelo took Tarja away from Nightwish (or perhaps Tuomes himself). Maybe Tuomes blames him for making Tarja this way. "With awakening the tears will begin To my everlasting shame silence took me" I think this means that Tuomes finally wakes up from the hate against Marcelo (?) that he feels 'everlasting' ashamed of feeling jealous or just plain hate. So he goes into silence and let it rest. Nice hard song, though. Completely different than what they normally do, but I like it. Especially when the 'choir' sets in. |

| Personally, reminds me of Hansel & Gretel. | |
