| Gorgeous song. i think the one verse sums up the meaning: "December never felt so wrong/ because you're not where you belong/ inside my arms." Something came in to her relationship and tore them apart whether physically or emotionally I am not sure. But she wants him back but is questioning whether their love can continue/live. Yeah. such a fierce song. not a lot of ideas for what it means. i think it is a song just about giving up, or looking for a reason to give up, or disappointment with himself or a relationship. but then the last paragraph, "your mother in torn garments..." confuses me. so yeah. i guess i have no idea. but i love it. |

i wasn't positive on the lyrics - i couldn't find them any where else...but let me know if i have to edit them! anyways. i love this song. "i was praying to leave" gives me goosebumps and i love the thought of "this disaster in me." i think we can all relate to the emotion of this song. so fierce. |

i love this song even though i'm not exactly sure what it means...at first listen i thought it was about being stuck trying to get over a love. when you don't want to lose the memories or the hope, but you are in so much pain that it's best to just forget so the pain will go away, hence her decision to "gonna burn so completely..." not sure know that i listen to it again though... lyrics are a little wrong... -"it tore my soul apart" -"i cried, i cried" = first verse (first and third lines) -"to help them through the day" -"i cry, i cry" = for the rest of all verses and lines -"gonna burn so completely i leave no trace/ though so many out there would laugh in my face/ for wearing emotion so close to the skin/ condemn me they might if to love's such a sin" great song. |

but when we're together we're too good for this world think this sums up what she is trying to say - they are both lucky to have found each other and if anyone isn't worthy of someone, it's the world not worthy of the two of them together. |
