| Pink Floyd – [The Wall Concept] Lyrics | 17 years ago |

My gratitude goes out to RainbowDemon for this idea of his. Truly a great one. Perhaps I should start one for Dark Side Of The Moon if there isn't one already? It's my favorite album by Pink Floyd, but this isn't the time nor the place for discussing other albums. Before I get to what I wanna say, I just wanna mention my undying love for Pink Floyd. While my favorite band of all-time is and will forever be Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and The Doors ( I can't decide on one ) would be my second, in some universe where that would be possible. Also, while many young kids take drugs for a plethora of irresponsible and stupid reasons, I don't agree. Again, in a social situation like a party, I do use alcohol/marijuana and even pills to have a good time and whatnot. However, I'm a firm believer of knowledging oneself and using psychedelics ( such as psilocybin mushrooms, mescaline/peyote, LSD, etc. ) to expand your mind and experience life to it's fullest. As dumb/stereotypical as this may sound, but when I'm intoxicated in any way, shape, or form, Pink Floyd is always one of, if not my first choice of music. Anyway, enough of that crap. So, back to The Wall. This album is legendary and great in it's own right. While it's not one of my favorite albums by them, it's still extremely important in it's own right. To comment on RainbowDemon's first comment: Even though Roger Waters is a dick, he really is the majority of the genius behind this band and it's magical creations. Look at Pink Floyd post-Waters. Gilmour is still one of the greatest guitarists ever, but the music "Pink Floyd"-not wrote after Waters left is appalling. It may not be so bad if it weren't Pink Floyd. I say that because I think Pink Floyd and I think Dark Side, Animals, The Wall, Meddle, Piper, et cetera. However, I think Pink Floyd and hear "Learning To Fly"? Come on, now. Sorry for hardly sticking to the topic, but for some reason I felt as though I should post what I did here. I cannot explain why, but I did. Take my words for what you will. |

"This is the strangest life I've ever known." Likely one of the top 5 lines ever written in music. I believe it describes my life in more than one way. It's funny to think a few choice words can influence and impact the life of an individual by saying so much with so few words. Jim Morrison will forever be a legend and one of my all-time heroes for too many reasons to name. |

| The Black Crowes – Movin' On Down the Line Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| No comments? What in the hell? This is the second best song on Warpaint, next to Wounded Bird. This song is unbelievably incredible, and great to listen to in any mood. | |

| No, it's an awesome song. As is the whole album. Dear lord. | |
| Kings of Leon – California Waiting Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I'd have to say without a doubt that the version on Holy Roller Novocaine is at LEAST a million and a half times better than on Youth & Young Manhood. That's my second favorite songs by the Kings, next to Arizona. Both extremely beautiful songs. | |
| Bright Eyes – If the Brakeman Turns My Way Lyrics | 18 years ago |

"First a mother bathes her child Then the other way around The scales always find a way to level out" This part always gives me chills. Beautiful song, without a doubt, if not their best. This and/or "We Are Nowhere, And It's Now" or "Don't Know When But A Day's Gonna Come" |

| This has easily become one of my favorite NIN songs. Trent Reznor is the only God I acknowledge, and he continues to amaze me. Hope he keeps this up, but it all remains awesome. I can easily say this song is one of the more amazing songs I've heard. | |
| The Black Angels – The First Vietnamese War Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| How has nobody commented such an awesome song? The wah in this song is amazing. Wah pedals are just ... sex. Great band. Hope they get some success and continue playing music for many years to come. | |
