no one ever told me that all my paranoid thoughts were normal till i fucking turned 16. till then mcs had been the only people who knew what i was going through. they helped so goddamn much and they so make me not geek so awful for taking pills cause i don't wanna be the crazy chick, no one does, but they helped me not let it all go to my head. and the world feels so much prettier when i know i'm not alone. |

I think this song is trying to explain how infatuation and lust work; she knows that it wont work out between her and whomever she's singing about, but she can't stop thinking about them anyway. They go right to her head |

this song reminds me off going to this party with a guy i liked. we were off to a good start, but i kept feeling a kind of draw to him, like i had to be near him. nothing happened, except we held hands a little and he had his arm around my waist for a while, but wrong and right were definately off. |

i think this song is from the perspective of an alcoholic father, maybe the lead singer's dad, and how he wants to get clean. he's left the family in the process of his quest and he's talking about how he wants to go back because he's changed. |

| Katy Perry – I Kissed a Girl Lyrics

since i'm bisexual, i found this song kind of upsetting. i'm not saying that the song is bad or anything, but it's not something that you should write a song about.
i was confused with my sexuality a while back when a girl kissed me at a party. her point of view was the singer of this song. but what happened that night changed me. she just went back to her boyfriend like it was nothing, and i was scarred and confused. songs like this shouldn't be on the radio or anything; it just promotes confusion among teenagers. |

the song is definateley about him being in love with a girl on drugs. there are wayy too many clues to it. i think it could be heroin because that's deathly addictive. maybe meth or coke. |

most people would suspect that the song is about sex, of course. but really, if you really are keen to the subtext, it's about drugs. |

against me! is pretty good, under all the circumstances. i mean, they didn't choose to sell out, their managers probably made them. can you name one band, other than fall out boy, who voluntarily sold out? no. so stop saying shit about them, please. |

i see this song as something about a girl who recently broke up with a guy, but he still turns her on. this is like the break up sex song. |

fuck the disney franchise. if metro station wanted to be in with the same assholes that are on disney, you think they'd write about sex and ciggs? doubt it.
whenever i hear this song, it makes me think of a friday night scene with girls in tight dresses and high guys trying to hook up. i think the song is talking about how there's a type of tension between the lead singer and a girl. they're at a party and the guy is getting soo fucking bored until his girl shows up. now she's kinda into him, but she has a boyfriend. he tells her to just forget about him for the night. that's why they're shifting in and out of control.
i don't know. just my opinion. |

i love this song and all, but why the hell does everyone have to care that they're related to whomever and shit? i hate hannah montana and the whole disney franchise, but the songs that metro station is producing proves that they're nothing alike. so if you're going to say anything about disney or who's half sister is who, don't. |

i loved this song when it first came out, but then juno had to go and take it. what's the deal? it was cute in juno, i guess, but there's more to the song than "cuteness". |

this song reminds me of this guy that i used to kinda sorta use. we were friends with benefits, but i liked him from the moment i saw him. we never talked about it, but he liked me too. we grew apart this year and all i want to do is talk to him again. he doesn't even look at me anymore, and all i want him to do is think about me. i just want back in his head. |

this is a follow-up song to "let's get married". they were happy and wanted it so much in the begining, but now they saw that they made a mistake taking a chance like that so young. since it was the guy's idea to get married, he's the one who wants to stay in the relationship so badly, but she just can't take it anymore. |

yes, this is like the play romeo and juliet. only the two people in love are running away in the middle of the night. the girl "juliet" isn't so sure about going away, so the guy is telling her that "they can change the locks, don't let them change your mind". smart, huh? |

i think this song is somewhat a description of a break up. when he says "and everynight that I spend
with bloodshot eyes and no end and enough excuses here to bury me alive" they basically mean "i can't sleep because you haunt my dreams" or something like that. |

actually, the drug idea sounds okay. at first i thought it was about a guy wh'd just found out that his girlfriend was cheating on him and lying about it, "I just found a friend In one of your lies To treat me so nice". but then when i listened to it more, i thought someone got him hooked on something. |

this song describes a guy who just got done with a relationship with a girl who he thought he loved. he knew everything about her, but she cheated on him. she probably complained a lot, which contributed to the ending of the relationship. but there's still somehting there between them...like a friends with benefits type thing, only he thinks of it as a bad thing "if it's not keeping you up nights". i don't know. just my annalysis. |

i agree with ellie117. a guy and girl just had sex together for the first time and now they can't think of what else to do. so now they just want to fall asleep and stay like that because they don't want any akwardness to happen once they open their eyes in the morning. |
