"Creepy"? Perhaps if you take the lyrics literally. Poetically, it appears to a very spare and succinct description of spiritual awakening: "I worked around your secret" implies the narrator is trying to avoid/figure out this "secret" (i.e. truth); "Suddenly someone was near me. / The touch of your thought" implies a sort of transfiguration of the narrator by this non-physical "somebody"; and the final command: "Awaken". It's freakin beautiful and mystical. |
