a shame to say it, but I heard the song for the first time just 5 days ago^^ but now i absolutey adore it, it´s really one of the most rockin songs ever heard...and really really cool ("so be cool" ;D) also think the father-alcohol-son story must be the right one, but the lyrics (especially in the verses) are just so enjoyable to sing...i love it =] and as a big wrestling fan...i personally think Jimmy Snuka is meant by "Jimmy" just because he sees him in the "tele" would be pretty cool if that´s the truth...can somebody ask rivers when he sees him?! :D |

without a doubt the best ballad so to say I ever heard of them! if give it away wasn´t that great,this one would be my number 1 of all time the thing with the structure is just awesome, every part gets introduced until they are all repeated together,and then this incredible ending...whoa, can´t express my feelings hearing it,so great! forever forming in the wet sand.... |

hearing the repeat on the same album after in the fade and itself as a "demo hidden track" after song for the deaf, i thought josh would bring some sort of that surprise on every album to follow,but you should know by now that there is nothing like that on lullabies or vulgaris. well,it´s a pity,but i would have liked the idea. the beat might have been stolen from something classical in the past,cause i had something comparable to it in my music lessons. but all in all, it´s just another extraordinary idea of this divine man. these drugs and and the beat together will be kept in our mind forever... |

also think that it´s not really "for your love", it definitely is somethin with "fuck" in it. not only because of the second line,also because of its incredible cool vibe,this thing is my absolute favourite sunday afternoon song! maybe it isn´t necessary to find a meaning,maybe josh just wrote about a mule,and that was it...because it is an animal that needs more attention or something like that. who could look inside josh´s mind please? |

strongest verse I ever heard from josh, and the song itself will never leave outta my absolute qotsa top 3,cause it´s too excellent and will be forever. to get a meaning to that thing is too difficult,i guess. there also is a video on youtube,where he talks about the song and its real meaning,saying that everything came to his mind,when he was in mexico. but don´t let me be the man to interpret it^^ one great track! |

as you can see on my name, I´m absolutely addicted to this song! first time hearing it, so strange,so "not-changing", but the end always kept in mind...then having the album,and hearing it every day. also the verses started to make sense. Now I´m lovin this tiny little thing to death and the way ltl describes the end like heaven...yeah dude,i agree a 100% I dunno why (cause it´s f´n awesome!:D) but I still get goose bumps while enjoying the end...so great! i always thought of a kinda different meaning. i imagined a homeless person, a misfit, who had his problems with his life in the past, and now wants to get more recognized. tryin to get love from another person("and if you are goin,can i get a ride?") is his challenge to become happier and more satisfied in the future, cause he knows that he "ain´t born to lose",but "born to win" you might know that josh got "born to win" tattoed on his arm.....I´m thinkin of doin the same sometime in the future ;) and again, I ADORE THIS SONG! thx,josh, you f´n god,you! |
