| Mastodon – Sleeping Giant Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I love this song, but i think the spoken word at the end is a little strange. I guess only because it's different to usual Mastodon. They guy sounds a lot like Tom Morello though.. It's not is it? I agree with closetofcannibilia in a way, but i think that the protagonst was the one caught cheating. The first part is where he forgets himself and does whatever he does, then in the second verse he gets found out, and it describes all the accusations etc, then the 3rd part is about the guilt and being 'killed again' 'n the 'eyes of grace' etc. Then it seems like he just leaves where the judgement is, and forgets it behind him. |

| The Reason – We're So Beyond This (feat. Sara Quin) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I think it's about when you're in a new relationship and you don't know quite how far you can go with honesty, and you don't know if you're going scare the person away if you tell them the whole truth about yourself or your feelings. 'Cause we're so beyond this' refers to the fact that they've gotten past the stage of holding back but don't quite know how to start talking deeply. |

| I read somewhere that the members of the abnd were actually erally pissed off with the link made between their song and Desert Storm, since it went against their anti war stance | |
| Mastodon – Joseph Merrick Lyrics | 18 years ago |

This song makes me cry for bliss If there were more musicians capable of compositions such as this there would be no wars. For it to have been inspired by a story such as Joseph Merrick's only makes it more powerful. Look him up and learn about him. |

I think it's super funny how people are all "Ramones aren't even punk, listen to Good Charlotte and Limp Biskit". Haha! Ramones helped INVENT punk. It's those trashy as bands that aren't punk. God. Wisen up rednecks |
