i'm not positive what this song means, but i think it can mean a few different things. mostly, i think the first verse is him talking about whether someone cheated on him or not, or maybe just hurt him. "If I find my way through the darkest of days, Will I laugh about the things that kept me awake? But if my greatest fear paints itself so crystal clear, Will I run away or will I hide?" i think is saying that if hes wrong about what he suspects, then is he gonna feel rediculous about it later. but then if he's right, he might not be able to take it. so the chorus then i think is saying that, if he gets hurt and he cant get over it then he really tried to. "the moon" i think is referring to whoever hurt him. because no matter how hard he tries he cant get over them even though he knows that it bad. hence the "curse the moon so dull and bright" line. the second verse i think is him talking about how maybe it was his fault they did this because he was lost and he cheated or hurt them once before. and he hates himself for ruining the perfect relationship they once had. so yeah. thats my main opinion. sorry if it doesnt make much sense haha. i've thought about it a whole lot though. and yeahh |

i dont feel like writing a whole lot right now, but i love the shakespeare thing. I'm pretty sure they use a line from Romeo and Juliet in "Bulls Make Money, Bears Make Money, Pigs Get Slaughtered". There's guest vocals from Craig of Blessthefall too. he does these lines : "With my eyes sewn shut To shut down and bathe in these words about me And now you're standing alone with your eyes to the sun Standing alone with your eyes to the sun" |
