I saw in an interview with the band that this song means many different things. It's "You want to make a memory." The basic theme is not taking life for granted and making memories with the ones you love. Don't ever let your pride get in the way. It isn't just about romantic relationships. Richie even said in some parts of the song he thinks about his daughter. |
