The it in the song refers to love. And the song says it i.e. love is more than everyone, him, her and them. The singer also seems to suggest that he no longer has any doubt that he is in love when he says "But I'm not really sure if it's love At all Not anymore" He is just like any other common person in love. He wants to be careful, but sometimes he just wants to surrender to the feeling and fly away, but alas he ends with a doubt "Would you stay". Just like me :-/ |

| This song is an earnest request from a husband to his wife to treat their relationship more seriously, more than just a friendship, to become more mature, forget about making fragile house of cards anymore. He will try the same also (I'll deal mine). In most cases, a marriage life becomes more of a responsibility after few years, when the early days' sparks are gone! | I agree with l0ki86!! This is abt the fear of losing the spark in love, which unfortunately does not stay for eternity, only the emotion lives. Although he wants to roll over (in the bed) to have her for a little longer, but alas! the charm is fading....he is waking up early in the morning to find the trees shredding the leaves, as if the winter has arrived!! He is in fear of losing it.....love is fading away. | |
