| This song is exactly what I went through in my last relationship. He and I had been HS sweethearts and I helped him through his depression then. We split the summer after I graduated and fell out of contact until a few yrs ago when he was in Iraq. We emailed for a couple months, but then the depression started getting to him again...and we fell out of contact again. Until recently...we decided to give it another try 'cause we had never gotten over each other. But then things got rough and he fell back into his depression...it doesn't matter HOW many times I tell him that I'm here for him and to just let me in and let me know what is going on in his head, he won't. I had fallen for him all over again and was reeling from heartbreak of him pushing away again, not letting me in. I finally had to walk away to save my heart...I hadn't heard this song until things started going bad with us. I bawled the first time I heard it and listened to it until I couldn't cry anymore. It's an AMAZING SONG!!!! | |
