I can't say I mind Trivium, but I can say that I agree somewhat to what you say about Heafy. I saw Trivium live in Seattle back in '06 and it was awesome; right after they released The Crusade. Saw them again a couple years later and Heafy was a completely different person. I paid the $30 to do the meet n' greet thinking it'd be cool to BS with the guys. Trais and Paolo were quiet but Corey was awesome. He saw me in the crowd wearing a Megadeth shirt and played the opening riff to Holy Wars. Matt, however, was your typical punk-ass rockstar. Dismissive, seemingly bored, and uninterested in what you had to say. So, in short, Heafy truly can fuck off. |

To the last idiot that commented, yes they are. Each member will gladly tell you, as you obviously can't read.
To the other idiots, namely the ones arguing about their heaviness, they are the heaviest Christian Metalcore band on the scene. Demon Hunter, Haste The Day, and The Devil Wears Prada (though they are close) just don't compare. As far as being the heaviest, most brutal metal band in general? Um... no.

It's hard to read some of the interpretations of this song, but it really separates the fans from the frauds. One of my all time favorites, this one. And to clarify, Dave didn't write the chorus in French on account of heritage, but because the French language is elegant in romance and in death. |

A buddy of mine, who is a pretty big HtB fan, loves their new album... except for this song. For a person that likes Dashboard Confessional and Alexisonfire, I don't understand why. I think this song is fantastic. The only other band I can think of that possibly could do something even remotely similar is At All Cost... but they couldn't even do something this awesome. |

There's no denying that this song is in memory of Youngblood's father, as he says so himself. What makes this song particularly powerful, though, is the fact that it can apply to any son that has lost their father. Possibly my all-time favorite song. |

I'm tired of people whining about Matt's decision to drop screaming. Thrash has never really had 'screaming' as heard in most metal, but a gutteral-ish singing. Heafy pulls it off well and The Crusade kicked ass. Stop bitching. |
