i dont know if anyone said this before, but i think this song is about how he's now realizing how much kate really meant to him. - "never thought youd make me break me" could mean he never felt that attatched to her, but know that she's gone he realizes it... kind of like you dont know what you have until you lose it ... now that he realizes that, he has a new perspective of their past relationship, a possitive one. - anyway, also "such a brilliant star you are" could be a reference to how she's in heaven and is still so beatiful and/or important to him that she's and always will be ( cause stars are kinda timeless) a brilliant star. - "will your love keep burning baby?" her love is comfort and support for him and he wonders if that feeling (of her love ) will carry on with him. kind of like her memory or the memory of their love to make him strong. - "far gone... running on empty" might be that he went far away from her and now that he has this new perspective of his past with her realizes that he's kinda empty (feelings, love ... you get the point) and "take me on" might be him asking her to take him with her take him on that ride kind of way. what do you think???? |

hi ! new around here so i don't know if this has alredy been said... anywaysss... i always thought blue refered to being depressed or something, i DIDNT know it was a slang for meth (since I'm not from and english-speaking country ;) ) so that gave me completly another meaning, which i find to be accurate cause if you hear the song, the lyrics and the music are confusing, really loud, and fast, kind of like a bad trip. When i listen to it I actually imagine a dark room full of stuff siping around me... just saying... |
