I agree with SkullKidKai: if this song is "about" any game in particular, it would be about Super Metroid, in which Samus returns to Planet Zebes to find it apparently deserted... at first. Thus the verse about how nobody ever mentioned all the enemies who'd returned. However, if I'm not mistaken, the tune the song is based on comes from the Norfair region of the original NES Metroid. |
