Actually I think this song is about all the crazy-fun girls they meet around the world. I met Alex outside their tour bus after one of their shows at night for about 20 minutes. He was so cute and humble about everything. he was into me..had his arm gripped around me and we kept leaning in when we'd talk. he kissed me on the cheek before i left. if only there wasn't a group waiting around for me to be done with him and they weren't about to head to the next city..lol probably would've ended up on the back of the bus.

I'm sorry but some of these interpretations are so far off...
"In Limbo" means being in a state of isolation (whether mentally or physically), with no prospect of moving to a better place. It's almost as if you're looking at yourself 'through the looking glass'.
at the end he is most definitely repeating "come back"... this is like his subconscious speaking. deep down he knows he has to get out of this way of thinking, but he's so emotionally damaged..thus IN LIMBO |

I LOVE this song; the video is great too. I think the line "The room is on fire as she's fixing her hair" sums up the whole song. There's so much going on, he realizes that and wants change. But she's totally oblivious to how things are. |

This song is so beautiful! My take on it is being in a relationship that's in trouble. The beginning has to do with one person who's drinking (too much) and their true feelings are coming out...or maybe they're made up. He thinks things are finally "falling into place" but there's still an uncertainty/sadness feeling to the song. |
