to me this song is about being afraid someone will repeat their mistakes I think it's about everything that's going on in her mind when she's alone and she's imagining what might be happening while she's not there. The 'red belt', i think, is a form of self protection - like in martial arts - trying to protect herself from the thoughts that keep creeping in. That's just my take on it. |

I think this song is about having two intense relationships in a row. the singer thought it would be nice to have someone new...with no history between them and the drama of the last relationship could be 'packed away'. But the new relationship is more work than anticipated. |

its not the 'c word', its 'you like to keep that console on' according to kate cooper - the lead singer, so straight from the horse's mouth (yeah i went there). To me this song is about a person taking a chance on a dysfunctional relationship. |
