| Dispatch – Blood Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| to me, it means that "rich people" are too stuck up to help those less fortunate. "her purse was filled, all her silver unsold"... the homeless guy surely doesn't have anything but his "pawn shop horn", but he's making the most of it... "i'm homeless, god bless, good day"; he doesn't hold a grudge against the old lady, even though she wouldn't offer any kind of help | |
| Living Sacrifice – Symbiotic Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| nscovell, funny you should mention the last bit... i bought the In Memoriam CD a while back, and i can only understand 1 or 2 songs from them... and this wasn't one of them...lol | |
| Dispatch – Prince Of Spades Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| i agree that it is about a man and his wife and kids... however "counting all his diamonds, one by one they do fall"... maybe he's just being stingy with his money, and it hurts him to have to spend a pennty.... | |
| Dispatch – Headlights Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
well as a christain who always tries to find the Godly meanings of songs, i'll give my opinions... "headlights" = the light at the end of a tunnel, nuff said... "highways" = not the road less taken (non-christain walk of life) "we cross the water"=maybe crossing out own personal red sea, as in the bible "our words flow from mouth to mouth"= spreading the Word that you have been told about. "the mist, it covers our traces, our faces"= i think this part basically means being a "sunday christain"; being gung-ho for christ on sundays, but during the week, acting completely different. then later on in the song: "so long to what's done"=realizing the mistakes we've made are in the past, and you can't change it/.... so on and so forth... overall, i think it just means changing the way you live as a christian... |

| P.O.D. – Goodbye For Now Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| wow, i'm listening to the song on my Ipod, and just read latinrocker's response, and got a little choked up... it makes sense though. not just a mother, but any lost loved one. and even deeper possibly, anybody think it could mean lost, as in not saved? | |
| P.O.D. – Youth Of The Nation Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
as pineapplechic said, " but i don't think it's just about school shootings, it's pretty much about everything that the youth of today faces " however, the last piece, in my opinion, gives hope to those suffering from whatever it may be.. someone DOES know. Jesus knows everything that we're going through, because he went through it all when he was on earth. That's about all i have to say. |

| P.O.D. – Alive Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| the singer of POD wrote this song the day he was saved. So its only obvious to me that they are showing their appreciation to God, and what He's done for them. | |
