| U2 – Boy-Girl Lyrics

The first U2 single. A very raw version was done for CBS records in 1978 and released in Ireland. The version on Boy was done later with Steve Lillywhite. A good example of young U2, exploring the themes of adolescence. |

A beautiful song, one of their best. And Unforgettable Fire is an underrated album. I agree with jcaimbeul. |

| U2 – 11 O'Clock Tick Tock Lyrics

The studio version that Hannet produced is a favorite of the "old school" U2 fans out there. The title came from a note Bono received about his friend Gavin Friday: "11 O' Clock Tick Tock, Gavin called." The single (if you can find it) has the wonderful b-side Touch, which shows a more punk oriented U2. You can get it on Itunes as well. |

| U2 – Boomerang II Lyrics

For those who need the facts, Boomerang II was a b-side that first appeared on the gatefold 7" single release for Pride (In the Name of Love). Also included were Boomerang, the instrumental version, and 4th of July. Brian Eno didn't like these particularly, so they were left off the album. Edge said he enjoyed doing the african guitar, if I can remember correctly from what I've read. |
