To me this song sounds like youth, and growing up and realizing the lies. "once you were free and you stretched out your wings to the sky sky was the limit, cap on your creativity team against team could we even the score our hearts kept the rhythm, that forbidden beat" That sounds like when you're a little kid, your parents telling you things like "You can do anything! You can be anything you want to be!" But when you start to grow up, toward and into the teenage years, the tone starts to change, "two in the morning, you can't hear the rumbling train trained not to think or question anything" Sounding more like this. You're trained not think or question anything.. A grim thought. Then: "for generations the answer has always been no no one remembers and nobody cares to ask asking a question is deemed criminal and slowly the silence grows" Sounds like how some parents get more and more short with their kids and even asking a simple question could elicit a response like "Don't Talk Back To Me!!" and how any request is answered with "NO" I could go on, but I think I got my view of this song across |

Hm, I believe the meaning is:....all he wants is her. Wow that was hard. But really, a truly wonderful song. |

To me a hear two people behind these lyrics; A girl, and Jesus. "And how can you look at me, when I can't stand myself?" and He says with power and effect "Perfect In Weakness" and she realizes "I'm only perfect in just Your strength alone" When she tried to fix her life herself "So open the windows to cool off" it doesn't go right "And heat pours in instead" But with Him, even though "I tried to kill you", "You tried to save me" Because His mercy is never ending, and to Him and His power, we are Never TOO far gone, He can always save us if we come to Him. |

| I'm fairly sure that the meaning is: ...That's what he likes about her | |

Well, it's "As the dust and the smoke is rising" but other than that. I love this song because I don't fully understand it, but I can see it's a little look inside her psyche, she's said this song was a dream she had and I think there are a lot of little meaning that can be drown out of this song...that's what I love about it. And of course, she has a beautiful voice. |

First of all, I think "schectertempest" and "bugoff" are both right. It sounds A Lot a Anti-Democratic AND Anti-Average American Dumb-Ass message. Constantly criticizing the president in his last term is both pointless and disrespectful. If you voted for him and now don't like him, than just shut up and blame yourself. And same goes if you Didn't vote at all and you don't like him, Take Some Fucking Responsibility! |

| I love this song, it's about the world and the decline it's in. And how it's going down in such shambles that people a thousand years from now (if it gets that far) and going to be "carbon dating beer cans, condoms and twinkie wrappers". | |

This is a fantastic song, so much more than just a theme song. And I completely agree with "The Serene Man" on page 1. The guy's insightful. |
