this song describes a person who thinks suicide could be used for sympathy and atention, rather than escape from unbearable pain. This song reminds me of a white stripes lyric, 'with every chance to set himself on fire, he just ended up doin the same thing |

When ever I listen to this I think that a man and a woman have just had sex in the forrest. The man thinks that all he does is fuck people over, he believes in heaven and spirits, describes her heart as dripping pitch, made of organic wood, rather than steel or marble, imperfect but alive, and when her hands felt cold, she felt them, changing the point of view in the same sentence. Afterwards they lie in the moonlit forrest, they think of how they used to be three, they had a child that's no longer with them, but baby cum angels, sex directed towards procreation could save them, because the world doesn't end, and life goes on. |

I think this song ties in with Invisible off of Marched Into the Sea, which says 'no matter what secret sort of mission you're on, your not invisible' I wonder if Brock identifies with this imagined mystery and meglomania. |
