"just a question:WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO BLOC PARTY?!?!?this song is totally out of their style...I just don't get it!..I don't want them to get fucked,they're just at the 2nd album! ..FUCK! " Their second album huh? Well the song isnt really from their second album (even if they do plan to re-release it with this song added) and even if it was any real fan of bloc party (ie doesnt just listen to whatever sings they play on the radio or tv) would know that their style has always been changing. The early stuff they put out is pretty fifferent from most of the stuff released on "Silent Alarm" and the songs towards the end of that album (with the slower, but more powerful sound; like 'Plans') were more closely related to the style of most off the songs found on "A Weekend in the City". so in short, if you dont like the song just get over it. the entire 3rd album wont sound like it because their sound has always been diverse and considering how big a leap they took from their first studio album to the second, you can count that they wont let themselves be bound to one style. Their next single could feature Kele rapping and i wouldnt even be surprised. thats just how bloc party is |

“jaws like a great white” is the correct lyric towards the end there. And i agree with agirlfromohio, the way he rings the first line in tin chorus sounds just like pump the jam! glad i'm not the only one who thinks so |
