I studied math and physics in college when this album came out. it really saved me from seperating real life from the laws and formulas in books. I used to get so wrapped up in my studies and forget about life and human relationships. I would worry that it was self destructive. MM so often brings them together and makes it make sense. Science and humanity and belief and math exist together. That's what a lot of this album is to me. |

drippin pitch and made of wood pitch is a fluid (usually sap) that seems solid but actually is fluid and takes A VERY LONG TIME to drip (like really slow molasses). It is a comment about how the universe has been around a very long time. Pitch dripping observations are scientific expirements that take A VERY LONG TIME (from experience) |
