the "tension that you speak of" is talking about two people arguing. of course. the arguers won't speak up about the issue either, although both know its there. "you cant see past the blood on my hands.." is saying that one of the two cannot get over the fact that the other has sinned or is a sinner. id put more but i have to go now. |

she's never loved any body with all her heart. instead she listened to her conscience [voices] and got lost in her music. then someone comes along and she ends up falling in love completely and has her heart broken. but she doesn't regret falling in love...she wouldn't take it back if she had the chance. so instead of regretting it or breaking down she gets lost in her music again. and the pattern repeats. BUT thats just my thoughts on it from hearing it over and over again. maybe thats not what she meant, and i havnt seen the music video either. it means something different to everyone, and it means this to me because thats how i relate to it. |
