I fucking love static-x, I think Wayne is a great lyricist. Black and White, the first Static X song I ever heard and it is what made me such a huge fan of thiers. Written by Budgie, It is reffering to corrperate music that is only trying to make money.....like My Chemical Romance, and basically all Rap. Metallica recorded it during the 'Justice' album, it was released on one of the Justice singles and Garage Inc as well, they would ironically be accused of selling-out some years later. BTW the entire 2nd CD of Garage Inc is past covers, it is clearly labled if you own the actual CD |
