I kind of perceive this song how levieeblanche mentioned now... Intitially, I perceived this song to be about how our ancestors or parents "a family of trees haunted" can possible affect our genetic dispositions. "Picking insects off of plants No time to think of consequences" I guess this can mean these genetic dispositions can be these bugs..or these inherited vexations that infest the "family tree"...can be picked off..or averted. Like if one had parent who is an alocholic/drug abuser (or any other disease or character trait) which can likely become a foible one can inherit so one does what one can to avoid that fate. "Control yourself." |

I can so relate to this song... summer love, i left for my last semester in college, distance fumbled the relation, i felt betrayed by her actions(she played me and to many mind games) which is grounds for no such kind of reconciliation...I haven't spoke or tried to contact her for the past 4 months. She text how she misses my company and hopes im doing well..on April Fools day.. how fitting.."there's really no way to reach me" cuz I'm already done! |
