The song is about someone losing a loved one, waiting in the ICU for news to come. Using Drugs to try and forget about it though it dose not help, trying to forge out of his foggy memory about the time they had spent together and how much it meant. And thinking about what Sarah said "love is watching someone die" And asking himself who's gunna be there holding my hand as i lay dieing? - A very sad and meaningful song. The song was influenced by a friends of Ben a couple who would often take walks in a park close to their home on one of their walks the woman fell weeping relizing that one of the two was going to have to watch the other die eventually. |
