| all you people sayin stay true to the fans are retarded!! i'm sorry but you have to do what YOU (as a band) want to do. that's what they did, they matured! this is to me the most heartfelt of any of their albums, the lack of screaming allows you to get past the anger and actually feel the song. i personally tried to hate the album, i was disappointed at first only to be very pleasantly surprised after listening to it over again. who cares if preppy girls wear your favorite bands shirt, thats a really fucking stupid reason to dislike a band you've liked forever. i congratulate them debuting #8 on the billboard top 200 opening week. i hope atreyu makes some fuckin cash now, no band deserves it more. lastly to all the haters...FUCK YOU ALL!! if you can't understand a band maturing then you are just as stupid as the mainstream that you love to hate so much!! | |

this song gives me strength! it is self explanatory... it's called honor and that's what it's about... honor. i think this song was meant to give hope to the hopeless, Like a whisper to the dusk An oath against the shadows Denying the dark FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT 'til the break of dawn Like a prayer unto the dawn In arms against the shadows Destroying the dark FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT 'till the break of dawn if that doesn't make you wanna rise above and fight, there is somethin wrong with you. to me this is probably the most inspirational songs i've ever heard from a rock band. maybe i'm fucked up i'm not sure but, anytime i feel like givin up i listen to this song, and givin up just isn't an option afterwards. |

| this song is straight butt rock and i love it! IMO it takes some serious nutsack to bring back butt rock and at the same time say fuck you to anyone who doesn't like it! i feel that fans and critics are both targeted in this song. i have loved atreyu since suicide notes and as much as i tried to dislike this album...i CAN'T! it doesn't matter whether you like the new sound or not because the band has still has their soul(s). you can feel it in the album. deathgrip was alot harder but the songs were shit, this ones soft...way soft but the lyrics are just fuckin real and to me that's what's important! also i'll agree avenged sevenfold is musically, a more talented band, but those assholes sold the fuck out! atreyu didn't! they changed their style but the lyrics still mean something! | |
