Very good lyrics. To me, this describes the experience of death, the passing through Hell ("the abyss now appears"), Purgatory ("to where all life descends"), and Heaven ("pure beauty of divinity"). The subject is in awe with all the wonders he witnesses. He then meets the Eternal Father, and finally understands the purpose and the workings of creation, his soul may finally rest in peace |
