clearly the meaning of the song is something personal to sia.. but i relate to this song with the feeling of loneliness. of needing someone. someone that makes you feel safe. and "breathe me"...is the request that the other person needs you back. (breathing is essential to life...just like we need oxygen to survive, you want the person to need you in their life.) but thats just my personal opinion and i really think everyone can relate to the song with a different meaning behind it. ...also, one of the most beautiful songs ever created ♥ |

yeah, she's leaving him. " it's not only for me, it's not only me, there's a little bit here for you..." i interpret this as him saying that being with him wouldn't only be for him, it's not just him who's gaining something out of it, she'd benefit out of comitting to him as well...he would make her happy, at least, but whatever it is.. there is definitely something for her to get out of it, not just him. |

in the second verse it's actually " j'ai beaucoup pensé à toi" -> there's an "accente" missing on the last e of the word "penser", i know it's tiny, but it's passé composé which is why it has to be like that:) catchyy song, i love it! |

i heard it on My TCW on scrubs aswell, and it has got to be one of the most outstanding episodes. zach braffs performance when he tells his friends " shut up. shut up shut up and shutup (....) ...when i sit at home staring at the wall wishing i had someone to talk to. the only thing that makes me feel better is that none of you guys know how lucky you are." and then the ending with this song, AMAZING. (another amazing episode is where dr cox's transplant patients die and the song " how to save a life" by the fray comes on. amaaaazing. ) haa, scrubs fans unite :) |
