This song has a different meaning to me because it's almost like Luke's telling me not to be so naive. It was through this song I realised that I was being naive to think something more would come of a drunken one night stand and at the same time it's what I want to tell the guy involved. I guess we're both pretty naive. |

I absolutely love this song. It's so true to me because I've only ever experienced unrequited love. It's about the frustrations of when someone messes you around and just won't see it your way. There was one particular boy I was completely in love with when this song came out and I used to cry when I heard it cos it was so true. It took me a year to realise that as much as you love someone, you can't make them love you. He was a bit of a jerk, looking back... |

I agree, redduke, I didn't see it until you mentioned it. The words like 'Remember the best times are yet to come' really relate to me, and I'm a SADS sufferer. Also the song is called Auntumnsong, when the symptoms just begin to appear. I love it though because I'm 16, and I feel like I should be planning what I'm doing in 5 years. To me this song is telling teenagers not to grow up too fast, but also not to be disheartened if things don't work out how you want. |
