| The Fall of Troy – Walk of Fame Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Song is great except for the "This is how Hollywood..." part. Can't believe they actually let Thomas record that | |
| The Fall of Troy – People And Their Lives Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Bleh, easily one of their weakest songs to date. The synth bass sections just ruin the song, you get a buildup for what should be an epic breakdown and then you get that crap | |
| The Fall of Troy – Empty the Clip, the King Has Been Slain, Long Live the Queen! Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This song is fucking lined with crack, so catchy. | |
| The Blood Brothers – Ladies and Gentlemen Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Where'd you get the lyrics for this? I've been looking for years | |
| The Fall of Troy – Panic Attack! Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
It's "Losing all my friends" not breath And it goes "Black and white has never been so right/Black and white has never been so bright" |
|
| Kay Kay And His Weathered Underground – Worlds Entire Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Beautiful. It's a love song, plain and simple, and an amazing one at that. | |
| The Fall of Troy – F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Are you fucking stupid? There's two songs about House of Leaves on Doppleganger. It's not a concept album, and GEPGEPGEP was written before the band had even read the book. | |
| The Fall of Troy – Chapter IV: Enter the Black Demon Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Not really. The Siren was sent by the Black Demon to kill any who enter their dimension, but in Part III she spares the main character's life. This enrages the Black Demon, and addresses the protagonist directly. He wants the Siren dead for betraying him. Thomas' parts in the chorus are the Black Demon trying to persuade the main character to kill the Siren in a friendly way. Frank's parts are the Black Demon's other, darker side (BANG BANG BANG!, Are you sold?). Kind of like good cop/bad cop MURDER! is when the Black Demon goes heavy on the main character, driving home what he has to do to survive here. Otherwise, the Black Demon will kill him. "Explanations turn to expectations turn to explorations. This is torture, thinking I would hold her, but I think it's over." is the main character seemingly accepting the Black Demon's offer; his life for the Siren's. However, the protagonist double crosses the Black Demon in Chapter V |

| The Fall of Troy – Chapter V: The Walls Bled Lust Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Actually, this song is about the main character fucking the Siren he meets in the alternate dimension while the Black Demon is inside his head telling him to murder her. Frank's part in the chorus is the Black Demon, attempting to paint the image in the main character's head of murder (Blood on the walls!/Ceiling to floor!). Thomas' part is the main character, fighting back against the Black Demon (I'm drowning in her scent, "the words you said are dead to me, I'll get the last laugh you'll see!"). Basically, he's telling the Black Demo to go fuck himself. The final, br00tal breakdown is the Black Demon, "puking up vomit and blood" as described by Andrew. He's fucking pissed, and wants revenge. I think this could possibly lead to a follow up album someday, as the story seems almost unfinished. |

| The Fall of Troy – Chapter III: Nostalgic Mannerisms Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This song is probably their best work yet. It's breathtaking | |
| Kay Kay And His Weathered Underground – My Friends All Passed Out Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
For anyone who hasn't heard this song or know about it's existence, it's on the second side of the Diggin' 7 inch. I really like it Kay Kay seems to be having some problems in his life in this song, seems to be in the real world instead of the place in the back of his head |
|
| Kay Kay And His Weathered Underground – Ol' Rum Davies Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| That's it. I have the lyrics right here in front of me | |
| Kay Kay And His Weathered Underground – Diggin' Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
<3 this song. This band is going to be huge one day, I can feel it. The West Coast following is already growing big, so it's only a matter of time before P.TM or someone else takes them on a full U.S. tour. As for meaning, it's pretty much just living life, and diggin' on all the good things that come your way. |

| The Fall of Troy – The Vomiting Winter Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
In the interview Thom said that it was dedicated to the girl who took care of him while he had a 24 flu called "the vomiting winter." He also said she "took care of him very well," leading me to believe this is about the sex he had with this chick. |

| Jaguar Love – My Organ Sounds Like... Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
After thinking about it for a while, I think this song is Johnny talking about himself, thus the title "MY Organ Sounds Like..." rather than "HIS Organ Sounds Like..." I think it's Johnny looking at all the pain and misery in the world, and how he's able to see it all from up on the stage. He's able to make this beautiful music, but 'everything it hurts.' It hurts to see people suffer. It hurts to see people hate each other. It hurts to see the world in its current state. Just my two cents. |

| The Blood Brothers – Giant Swan Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Don't talk that way eizoh ;_; They'll be back, eventually! A guy can dream, can't he? But you made the perfect point I almost wonder if at the time this was written, they knew it'd be the last closer they'd write together It flows so well, plus the insane breakdown it bursts into halfway through is so damn powerful. Another though occurred to me. Giant Swan=Swan Song=Last beautiful thing before death? Maybe it's just a coincidence or cruel irony, but another part of me says that The Blood Brothers knew this was going to be their last song together, so they made a masterpiece. Definitely my favorite from YM |

| The Fall of Troy – Semi-Fiction Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Debaser, it actually seems to fit in pretty well. Thomas' character, Teeth (IIRC), returns from the dimension he and his crew were sent to after their ship sunk due to being attacked by the Ghostship. He returns home in Part V to find his wife/lover/etc. cheating on him, so he murders her and her lover. This must be him thinking about her and moving on. |

Johnny Whitney is quite possibly the best lyricist ever born. Everything he writes is pure genius. |
|
| Jaguar Love – The Man with the Plastic Suns Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Holy crap Baron. Did you come up with all of that yourself? | |
| Kay Kay And His Weathered Underground – hey momma Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This band is amazing. I'm glad I live near Seattle so I can go to their local shows :D | |
| Coheed and Cambria – Justice in Murder Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I don't see this as Wilhelm dying, but as Claudio killing Mayo. Most of the song is Claudio talking to Mayo before killing him, saying that his murder will be justified. The end is Claudio getting ready to go off and face Wilhelm Ryan alone. | |
| Coheed and Cambria – Gravemakers and Gunslingers Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think this is Claudio, The Gunslinger, and the remaining IRO-Bots fighting Mayo's forces at House Atlantic. Claudio's pissed about Sizer's death (for me, Sizer dies in The Running Free by Mayo's hand again) so he's going apeshit on the Red Army with the Gunslinger at his side. Just an epic battle. | |
| The Fall of Troy – Quarter Past Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song was fucking awesome live. Sing along! :D | |
| Coheed and Cambria – The End Complete IV: The Road and the Damned Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Definitely one of the best songs on No World For Tomorrow. It's just amazing. That's all there is to it. Amazing. | |
| The Fall of Troy – Ex-Creations Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| If you ever get the chance to see this song live, watch Thomas's fingers. It's insane. | |
| The Fall of Troy – Ghostship Pt I Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Saw this song live last Saturday. It was the reworked version for Phantoms on the Horizon, of course. There's a new, long solo between "Shoot to kill, but they just won't die! The bow starts to tip, out of the corner of my fucking eye." and "As the ship is going down, I look upon the captain's frown... I see nothing but a broken man! I see nothing!!! Nothing!!!" Makes me look forward to PotH |

| Jaguar Love – The Man with the Plastic Suns Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Yeah, I just copy and pasted this off the lyric blog on their MySpace page. I'm sure it'll be changed when the album is released | |
| Jaguar Love – Georgia Take me to the Sea Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
"So grab a microphone put the tape in press record, Georgia can you hear my heart explode?" Love this so so much |
|
| Tiger Army – Spring Foward Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Wow. This song relates to me a lot. It's all about a girl he loved for one summer and ended up losing her. And now whenever he thinks back on that summer, he can still feel that same love for that girl. I think anyone can relate to this song, honestly. |
|
| The Fall of Troy – Ghostship Pt V Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| The techno breakdown is made of fucking win | |
| The Fall of Troy – Shhh!!! If You're Quiet, I'll Show You A Dinosaur Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
He's tired of being manipulated by this girl, which you can see in the line "Back and forwards, you think I'll stand beside you?" He loses it and then kills the girl for manipulating him this whole time. |
