| Paramore – Turn It Off Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| One of the many religious themes in this albums, it seems like she's really questioning her faith, especially in lines such as, "It's not existent, but we just keep on believing", | |
| Brand New – At the Bottom Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| "I make little LIVES..." doesn't even make sense. i'm definitely hearing "lies" | |
| Brand New – At the Bottom Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I updated the lyrics @BryanMac- I'm hearing the same thing | |
| The Audition – The Running Man Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I'm hearing "arrested by your love", not "infested" | |
| The Audition – The Way You Move Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I think it's "arrested by your love, girl", not infested | |
| The Audition – Everybody Is Someone Else's Secret Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| It's not "story versions of ourselves", it's "assorted versions" | |
| The Audition – Sign. Steal. Deliver. Lyrics | 16 years ago |

And here are the *correct* lyrics... There are a few things I should say Oh, before I make my way Down the hall and out the door That we've walked so many times before When my battery is low and I'm getting cold I need to recharge, kickstart oh Bold you could make a man out of me That you keep me clean But if only I could say this Maybe she would finally face it Maybe she would finally understand. The plug in the wall, I won't fit it all To turn me back on Make me come undone I open up and say what I, I really mean This is all you see. But if only I could say this Maybe she would finally face it Maybe she would finally understand Don't want to tell you, but a year ago this was over (this was over) It's difficult just to walk away and leave forever (leave forever) And I've tried it again, again But I just need to give up, give up Let go and start this over. It's such a shame I never felt that way Maybe she would finally understand. Maybe she would finally understand. Maybe she would finally understand. Maybe she would finally face it. But if only I could change it. Maybe she would finally face it. Don't want to tell you, but a year ago this was over. It's difficult just to walk away and leave forever And I've tried it again, again But I just need to give up, give up Let go and start this over. It's such a shame I never felt that way. |

| 3OH!3 – Don't Trust Me Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
@taylor- thank you! that's exactly what i was going to say. yes, we all know straight-edge kids do the X thing too, but if they're washing them off, it's to look like you're over 21. seriously, think about it, people. why would you draw on X's and then wash them off? on another note... this song is amazing. and so true. |

| The Narrative – Eyes Closed Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
The clouds hold A storm over this road... You're dreaming... Or at least you've got your eyes closed And this dormant love you've built inside your stubborn ways, Well its begging now, for air... ...Of the silent breath of change... As these waves crash against the highway cliffs... I'm so scared they'll flood me where I sit... Well the roads, they change to waterways... They never carry home... You pull back (pull back) and you angle towards the window... Now the rain is crashing down, And oh my god, you're beautiful... And i'm so unsighted, still I pray you'll hold back your escape.... Yeah we still got time And in my mind these bends could be steered straight... As these waves crash against the highway cliffs, I'm so scared they'll flood me where i sit... Well the roads, they change to waterways... They never carry home Well, I'm sorry for the things I had to say... And I'm sorry i pushed your hand away from the radio... I pushed your hand away from the radio... I should have just let it go... |

| Anthony Green – Califone Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
yeah, it's definitely "califone, i love you, but you're doing coalesce. califone, i love you, but you're singing sinatra again." get your lyrics straight, people! and obv, he's talking about the band califone.. who he loves. this one's pretty straight-forward, i think. |
|
| Dustin Kensrue – I Knew You Before Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| i love this song. its so easy to relate to, because at one time or another, everyone had that element of childlike innocence. "You could be beautiful again". Its [somewhat] possible, he's saying to return to that beauty | |
| JamisonParker – Biting Bullets Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| i have to say, i find it ironic that [sunetsxcarcrashes] brought up SoCo in "keeing the genre alive". This song is so beautiful, and JamisonParker [like SoCo] was a great band.. RIP. | |
| Jack's Mannequin – I Need You Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
okay, technically this is just andrew singing; it's not jm. this song is different from the style he usually embraces, but i love it. "and i'm like lying awake in your bed sometimes i don't remember why can't i forget her" perfect. |
|
| The Format – Give It Up Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
this song resonates so much with me. [and along with everyone else] i have to agree that it's about graduation. i'm from arizona too [godforsaken town], and its horrible. my friends and i would always talk about how we couldn't wait to get out of town; and how none of us would consider staying in state and going to UA. of course, almost all my friends ended up staying- NAU or UA. but i left. and its so strange to go back to the place that use to be "home"... "well i made my way back down to the valley, right on past 83rd street, cause that's where we once belonged, but i'm gone. i swear i'm long gone." sooo true. |

| Something Corporate – Forget December Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
perfect song. i think most people can def. relate. it seems like christmas time and the holiday season should be happy and wonderful. but its not. and most of the time, it won't be. christmas freaking sucks. everyone puts on a fascade and tries to have a good time, but it doesn't "kill the sickness we rehearse" "forget december, it won't be better than i remember it before" people always seem to get their hopes up, but they only become disappointed by the reality of it all. "and this month only will be so lonely and not so holy anymore" i think people who are alone always feel like its highlighted around this time, because they don't have anyone to be with. and it's not really a holy time anymore, is it? does anyone really concentrate on the REAL meaning of christmas anymore? it's become yet another hallmark holiday... |

| Lovedrug – Skeleton Jill Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| wow- no one has commented this. anyways.. i think this is one of my favorite lovedrug songs. it's sad, the lyrics suggest that you can never really know someone. that you can be friends with a person, but you never really know when it will be over. "friends are friends until...". and then in a moment someone finds out his secret. | |
| Backseat Goodbye – 11:12 Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| i love it. reminds me of SoCo's Konstantine, with the title... | |
| Backseat Goodbye – Technicolor Eyes Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| it's basically "get-to-know" chad sugg... we have a mutual love for bright eyes. yay! | |
| Lovedrug – The Narcoleptic Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| after the last line, they sing "que sera sera". this song seems pretty straightforward. he drifts off to sleep and is dreaming. in his dream, he's the hero. but when someone actually calls upon him for help- "the queen", he refuses to rescue her. then, in the last stanza, he admits that he needs to work on himself."que sera sera- whatevever will be, will be". perfect ending. | |
| Lovedrug – Pretend You're Alive Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| well, it's actually "panic in the evening" in the 2nd stanza, not "picnic". this song is so incredible- one of those that you can leave on repeat for days and not be sick of. "your life's a song, so sing along before the silence swallows you". perfect. i agree with drmn, this song seems to be about looking at your life and seeing how blank is is, and trying to fill it with something. | |
