it's really great to hear the backstory behind it, as I would have never guessed it.
I always heard it as a girl who leaves him and comes back because she knows he'll be waiting and that he's steady.

probably one of the top 10 of 69.
i don't know many people that agree with me, but what i've always gotten from this song is the sense of a childhood->life whose father figure aka manliness was derived from the rodeo, and emotions or motherly things from music. |
