| Oceansize – Legal Teens Lyrics | 16 years ago |

These are the correct lyrics. Source: Mike Vennart. Ace Song anyway Legal Teens the surgery took no time i had it before friday a test in elocution for better rhyming couplets we'll all survive to let it spill out at the sermon earnest in intention crass in execution cigarettes and prozac blinkering my vision but if we'd have started years ago would we still be here today am i sweeter than the innocence you took from me am i a card to play or throw away away somewhere lost at noughts and crosses downstairs clinking glasses let me through the window tell them nothing happened but if we'd have started years ago would we still be here today as we tossed the coin it froze and crystalized but we never took the picture and if all this gets anymore hard and time starts standing still then i'll wave the wand of innocence while you plead and blow us all to hell but until then.... |

| Oceansize – Music For A Nurse Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
This is a song they wrote about a friend of theirs who died of cancer. There's absolutely nothing like cristianity in this song. Some of their lyrics might be connected to faith, but definitely not in a preaching way. Anyway, Music For A Nurse is a incredible song. I was just discovering Oceansize when a close relative died of cancer, and this song definitely helped me. "And did you know that everything you touch is blessed and all the richer" "And if I display just a fraction of the soul you showed in this world Then I know I'll see you again" These are extremely strong lines. I often think about what a person Mike Vennart must be to write such meaningful lyrics. I think music is his best way to express his feelings but he somehow encrypts his lyrics so that it isn't obvious what he is singing about. Anyway, brilliant band, my favourite band ever. |

| Portugal. The Man – People Say Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| "I'm a president's son" maybe just a strange theory, but might this be a reference to George W. Bush? | |
| John Frusciante – Ah Yom Lyrics | 17 years ago |

| Oceansize – Vorhees Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| When i first heard Vorhees i thought this is a nice relaxing bonus track, but after a while i got deeper into this song and now it has become my favourite 'size song. Especially the second time he sings the misfortune-part with the freaking out guitars and the shaking voice kicks my balls. | |
