IMO this is about farewell. It could be as to Genesis as a band like anything else. Tony Banks wrote a song about the same time called "The final curtain" that was even more farewell - ending something. |

This song clearly starts with a bombing on a building. It ends on the argument: "how can you be so sure about something as to kill anyone?". This song was released circa 1996, but takes a new meaning after Sep 11. |
