This is the first song I heard by Pinback and I immediately fell inlove. It has a great tune, and is definately about a fish. Or maybe, he's just using that as a way to state how hes feeling, without telling his secrets. Or, it could just be about the fish once again. haha. |

I think I can relate to it a little. I think its about a person going down the wrong path and making wrong choices. He knows the other person is not making those choices. He gets mad that the other person doesn't make those choices that he's making. But really, he just wants the other person to suffer just as much as he is. The other person is refusing which is making the original man just hurt more, he's too reluctant to go back though before he went down the wrong road. I hope that made sense. |
