it's "and i'll lay awake and i'll watch the stars as they collide" on the second "like i know everything, i don't know anything, i wanted you to see", he doesn't say the "i got nothin" i also think he might say "in my eyes", not "yeah, my eyes", but i don't know. |

I hate to break it to you all, but I really think these lyrics have NOTHING to do with self-inflicted wounds. "THIS ONE had it coming" It's like when you get grounded, and than you complain about it and your parents replied with, "well you had it coming" or "you brought this upon yourself" when ever he recieved 'that one' the person told him it was his own fault. "THESE TWO seemed smooth as silk" when he's talking about it being smooth as silk, he's referring to the scar, unlike all the others, whereas he's talkng about recieving them. "THIS ONE had a vice" go to dictionary.com and search vice, if you're too lazy: there's several meanings that fit, so it's hard to determine which one the band was really wanting to use, but they're basically talking about the whole "has it coming" thing again. I'd explain the rest, but I think the rest is really all self-explained, or has already been explained. |
