OH MY GOD I love this song!!!!!! This is my new favorite song! The CD version is brilliant! I love the part when the girl starts singing, it's just amazing. This is such an emotional song, and Regina's voice coupeled with the piano makes it even more moving. As for the meaning, I think it's pretty clear that it's about someone's life after they got pregnant by a guy who ran off; the "braille" in her stretch marks is symbolic of the fact that she knows soemthing happened that would be with her forever, but the only for it to be seen anymore is by the language the guy left with her. But that's just my opinion. Again, this song is sooo incredibly beautiful, it's like...woah. The lyrics compliment everything so well... "yeah, I'm still an asshole playing with candles Blowing out wishes, blowing out dreams" |

I agree with goodnight&goodbye about how it's about the singer's girlfriend dying. Every line of lyrics just seems to talk about notsalgia, which leads to that conclusion for me. Also, the musical elements sound really slow and sad. This song is so incredibly beautiful...it's unbelievable. I love it so freaking much :] "I'll carry it to my grave knowing that for someone you're an angel sent to save (Keep breathing my angel, if you go down I go down with you) may I say I loved you more" Some of the most lovely, heartfelt, amazing, and beautiful lyrics ever :] |

I remember when this came out! I was like, four. hahaha. Btu then they kept playing it on the radio, and I LOVED it. Unfortunately I never had any clue what it meant until a few months ago and listened to it again. haha, but I still love it :] Anyways! Despite teh drug references, the lyrics for this song are actually rather good, especially in the last verse, which was edited for time. One of the best lines of all time is "I'm not listening when you say goodbye..." I'm in love with this!!! XD Oh, and yeah, it's obviously about his sex life with this girl while he's on meth. hah I'm the type of person who walks down the halls at my school singing the "do do do, do do do do" part XD |

No matter if this song is anti-Bush, anti-war, or just Mikey trying to revive Fort Minor, this is, in my opinion, the best track on the album. The lyrics: "Risk something Take back what's yours Say something that you know they might attack you for" and "With hands held high into a sky so blue The ocean opens up to swallow you" are some of the most amazing I've ever heard! :] But, as a correction, it's jeep, not G. |

To me, this song has multiple meanings. But the main one that sticks with me is a mix of the reject/patient theories. I think the person who died was a reject. so, in the first verse of the song, it's talking about him. But in the second verse, it's him talking about everyone who shunned him during life. But I'm probably wrong. I dunno. And I think the last part is just the best thing My Chemical Romance has ever done :] P.S., "And if your heart stops beating I'll be here wondering Did you get what you deserve? The ending of your life And if you get to heaven I'll be here waiting, babe Did you get what you deserve?" those lyrics are amazing! |

This song strikes me as a lot of teens anthems, unfortunately. For the meaning, it's pretty obvious; the kid leaves his house because of his parents, regardless of what teh reason is. He feels defeated and lost, until he realizes that he belongs at home, finally. For some reason, I think this song is deep, as far as Underclass Hero goes. It's probably my favorite off the album |

Ok. So this is pretty much the BEST Fall Out Boy song ever. No question. Patrick's vocals on "when the moonlight hits your bright eyes, I go blind" are spectacular. And his lyrics own Pete's. I agree that Patrick really should go back to writing more of the songs. Maybe his amazingness is too much for Pete :0 I also think that EOWYG was pretty much the best album they ever did. The sound was just so honest... anyhoo. I can't believe I just found this site..hmm.. haha In conlcusion... PATRICK AND THIS SONG BEAST :] |
