How has nobody commented on this yet? It's such an incredible song. You know that 3 minute long outtro in So, In This Hour...? That's where this song goes. The producers made Bryce cut it because, correct me if I'm wrong please, it was "too dark." If anything, I feel it's the exact opposite. He's talking to someone, maybe God, maybe Tara, or maybe even just a friend, and he's saying that when he's down in the dumps, wanting it all to end, they make him realize that it's okay, and they tell him to live. That's a very literal explanation. Another one could be how Bryce is very make the most out of life/live life to the fullest. And when he's forgetting that, and feeling like he's wasting his life, somebody tells him to go out and forget all his fears and worries and just to live. "When I'm all by myself, and I'm scared about my health. You tell me to live." I can relate to that line perfectly. I have RSD, and it's only getting worse. I'm terrified and it feels very alone. But my best friend tells me that it's going to be okay, and it's going to get better. Basically, she tells me to live. Bryce Avary is a genius. There's no doubt about that. |
