"I think the song is about religion" If I hear this comment about one more Slipknot song Im gonna freak the hell out. All you sad emo kids need to take your dresses off, end you sobbing ass tea party, and realize that there is more things to right music about then how opressed you are about organized religion. For the love of god...People go through life dealing with all kinds of problems. Drug addiction, depression, broken homes, loss of love ones, suicide, and so much more. Oh and guess what RELIGION HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THOSE THINGS! |

I sat with Corey Taylor last night at Jannus Landings after his show and talked to him for about an hour and a half. Just kicking it, drinking beer and what not. I asked him what the meaning of this song is and this is what he told me. He said I was on tour in Europe and one of the few channels that were in english was MTV Europe. He said that each song went by they just got worse and worse. It was awful to see such crap over and over. It was that night he started writing Through glass. It may seem stupid but that is the true meaning behind this song from the man himself. |
