| I have a vague idea of what they are trying to say in this song now that i've seen the video clip. But whatever the truth is, the beat to this song is great, the only part I think could be better is when they start with the 'doing in the dark with smiles on our faces', it breaks the song in a way that I dont really like, but overall is pretty good. | |

It's about some sort of relationship for sure, not necessarily a romantic one, but it involves people that are basically different but they gave it a try anyway and it didnt quite work but they care for each other just the same. However, I dont think the entire song is about that, the exemplification of a relationship ends up leading to a more general statement, in the end of the song where it changes the beat. So they start specific to convey a message at the end that serves everyone, that is that everybody is connected and that we shouldnt take for granted the effect we can have on each other and how it can help or not getting to the lighthouse which would be a place we feel safe or have sel-knowledge. PS: Not on drugs, I swear :) |

I can understand the previous comments here, but for me this song has a different meaning. First, this is my favourite song in Frou Frou's work like delial said. As for the meaning it's hard to define what the song is about, but one thing that always comes to mind to me in that part 'a flicker of the future could have saved the cindered sisters' is the Inquisition. And it almost seems as if she is dreaming and/or seeing things that not necessarily happened to her, and that those things end up being dear to her and so she says 'They stand inside me The moments until the one I leave' All in all, this song always makes me happy and it gives out a sense of hope. |
