It sounds a bit like the woman is dominant. I mean to me it's obviously about sex. "And when you crack the whip, I crawl again" - Dominance. "You shift the play, push the curve to sit between your thighs"- You shift the play sounds like she's turning the tables, the woman is in control. She gets joy out of it and he doesn't. |

I love this song so much! Yeah, I think it's about growing up or growing into the band they are now. It's a really brilliant song and the lyrical content is amazing! |

There's an interview with them talking about this song. They said they'd had a gig, but it ended up being cancelled, so they were walking along Hollywood boulovard and got in a fight with each other. Then they said it was a good experience because it made a song, I'm guessing this is the song? |
