Jackson Browne – Here Come Those Tears Again Lyrics 18 years ago
She's ready to move on with a platonic relationship but he still has lots and lots of romantic feelings for her. He's not even close to ready for friendship only ("When I can look at you without crying...I'm going back inside and turning out those lights")

She's left and then re-appeared, I'm guessing incidentally in a social setting. As soon as he sees her again, the memories and pain, which were only right below the surface, come back again (...I hear your footsteps echoing in the hall....Here we stand again.)

She has distance in her that cuts him to the quick. He knows it will never be like before.

Jackson Browne – Everywhere I Go Lyrics 18 years ago
You're in my heart "Everywhere I Go". You have an affect on all parts of my life. All I can think about is you. I think it is love. And it's great.

It's interesting to hear Jackson sing this in Reggae style. Not what I imagine from JB however it's different, light and enjoyable.

I'm a huge JB fan but he does get heavy lots of times. Something this light is nice.

Jackson Browne – I'm Alive Lyrics 18 years ago
Yeah, tough break up here, however there is a transistion during the song from I'm just taking this one day at a time and it really hurts "I'm Alive" to I thought it would kill me but it didn't and "I'm Alive."

Sometimes we have no other choice but to just go on and take the next day as it comes. But things get better and there is hope. Though there may be a few scars, time will heal the wounds of a broken relationship and we will find ourselves "Alive" in another one.

Jackson Browne – Take This Rain Lyrics 18 years ago
This is a great song about moving on. (New address). Moving on from love, from madness, from pain. Baby it's alright to move on. Sometimes it's painful but the "wind, open sky, and unbroken horizon" lay ahead and "you're going to be free."

Great melody with some nice harmonies, also.

Jackson Browne – Two of Me, Two of You Lyrics 18 years ago
This song is about the dualities of personalities and the consequences to life's actions. However, the ambiguousness of some of the lyrics can open this to many interpretations. I read once that Jackson did not like to be ambiguous early in his career but later was proud that his songs could mean different things to different people. As a matter of fact, Jackson said some of his earlier songs mean something different to him now.

This song has beautiful lyrics as well as vocals. Tremendous song.

Jackson Browne – Love Needs a Heart Lyrics 18 years ago
Indeed this is a beautiful song. Jacksons voice reflects very sincere and heartfelt in the line "I hope it finds me in time." If he hasn't been there, then he is an incredible actor of his lyrics. His music expresses being there as well as anybody.
