After looking around for what "Primal Directive" means in google, the closest thing I could find was the definition of prime directive, which is a term from star trek. Prime directive is sort of a set of laws that apply to advanced civilizations that are part of a universal organization on how to deal with less advanced civilizations upon encounter. They're not supposed to interfere with cultural development of these civilizations or interfere in the wars of less advanced civilization. I think the "As we map out this universe" part means that they've been looking around for a planet/civilization for so long, that they broke the prime directive and interfered with a species in some way. Just a thought. Fucking love this album, and the story behind it. |

Well the last case file is out on worsethanafairytale.com and its the murder of a pastor...which got me thinking what if the killer was the pastor? Drawing the Devil said "The devil's own hand was knotted by the pastor" the killer thinks hes saving people by killing...which is what pastors do without the killing part. the murder case said there was signs of a struggle, and then eventually he was shot in the head. I think the pastor killed himself. I also think he had multiple identities...in the chorus of this song, and in Its Pretty Hard To Beat The King...hes like "Go tell this town ive built them all their coffins" like hes talking to himself. and the chorus of this song is like "Like a ghost, you slept in my bed. And I fell while you tore through my neck. When I awoke, you were already dead. Those eyes, I'll never forget." He could be talking about his multiple personalities. he was hurting himself and going insane...i just imagine that hes just yelling random things out loud like "you wont find her body!" and eventually ended up killing himself I hope that was clear...thats it for theory 1...oh yes i have more well another one could be that the killer isnt the dead pastor, but another pastor. "But to you im just a mirror" hes another pastor "Sometimes mirrors shatter" maybe he lost his faith? idk thats all i have for now...longest comment ive typed up on this site |

Well the beginning of the song, i think the killer is trying to stop his urge to kill. Or he doesnt want it to happen again or something the website says that this murder was a girl going to church, and she was stabbed twice, but the killer cleaned her wounds. "Why did God make glass to be shattered? To hold, and to cut? Your crooked cross covers your eyes." He stabbed her with glass, twice. And the crooked cross part could either be the two cuts he made, or she was wearing a necklace of a cross. The id like to have a word with you part is probably him trying to get her to talk to him so he could kill her.
