| This Town Needs Guns – If I Sit Still Maybe I’ll Get Out Of Here Lyrics | 15 years ago |

To me, this song is about this guy talking to his ex girl friend, not really trying to get her back, but saying to her that he is still the same as when they first met and maybe it is worth giving it another try. But he also says that if this last visit is our last goodbye, than he'll always have her in his heart. "many a time sat silent at my side" That line makes me think its a relationship. I feel as if he is trying to say slept in the same bed. Awesome band, awesome song... |

This song has to be one of the best by them by far. Has a very commercial sound and is composed perfectly. In my eyes, this is about a couple that just broke up and he is finally coming to the realization that it was never going to work out. He may have loved this girl with everything he had, but in a matter of seconds, he realized it wasn't worth it. " If you don't feel it It's gonna get harder everyday" Meaning that if you don't realize it's never going to work, it will just be harder in the end... AMAZING SONG |

First off, the beauty of all the songs that DCFC has done is that you can relate to them in many different ways. Now, I can relate to this song in a little different way than most people. I believe, to sum it all up, this song is about a relationship that is slowing slipping away. I see that all the pain he is feeling is being related to the hospital and watching someone die. When you lose someone in a relationship, sometimes it's like they die to you. But he remembers what Sarah said, "that love is watching someone die" and he realizes that maybe it wasn't right but a lot of other people go through the same thing and there will be someone else out there for him... Probably way off from the real meaning, but again, the power of DCFC is relating their lyrics back to you... Simply beautiful |
