To me, this song reminds me of my parents' divorce. It practically slapped me across the face because I thought my parents were fine and that they were going to stay together, but it was a fact that they weren't. How I thought it was my fault that they weren't together anymore, and when my dad moved away, how i wanted to convince him to stay with my mom and live with us again. "I should have given you a reason to stay." This song really hits close to home, but I love it. It's absolutely beautiful! |
