| Neutral Milk Hotel – Two-Headed Boy Pt. 2 Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I love the part: wait for our miracle God is a place you will wait for the rest of your life To me that's saying: if you're waiting for a miracle, and hoping God will give it to you, you're going to be waiting for a long time. Also, as has been said this is the most beautifulest song ever etc. |

| Radiohead – Lucky Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Fucking chills down my spine. Radiohead has the highest chill/song ratio of any band. | |
| Radiohead – Subterranean Homesick Alien Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Tarenceray and electioneer and a few others have it. About being on the outside looking in at all these weird creatures who are just living their lives without paying attention. He's the only one interested in the meaning of life, not even his friends. And yet, at the end, he acknowledges that he's as uptight as the rest of them. Reminds me a bit of Darl in As I Lay Dying. My favorite lyrics ever. |

| Wilco – When You Wake Up Feeling Old Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| That disoriented feeling, waking up in the morning and not knowing where you are or even who you are. | |
| Wilco – Outtasite (Outta Mind) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
"Out of sight, out of mind" is the cliche - if you're away from something/someone for a while, even something/someone you used to love, it's easy to stop thinking of them. At least that's the theory. But Wilco, being Wilco, switches it around. It's easy to not see what's right in front of you if you're not thinking about it, or don't expect it to be there. |

| Wilco – Cars Can't Escape Lyrics | 18 years ago |

"There were reasons for you to love me but I gave you none." Gotta put yourself out there. |

| Wilco – A Shot in the Arm Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| A song about how easy it is to fall into the trap of thinking that quick fixes will solve everything. His relationship with the "you" has deep problems that will require a lot of work, but some devil on his shoulder keeps agitating for a short-term solution, either drugs or whatever drugs are a metaphor for. | |
