Alright you guys are taking the line"i bared my wrists and promised to begin but you cut the blade straight in" too seriously, open your minds to new ideas. It could mean that she broke down her walls to a new person and he did nothing but hurt her. Which is what i think the entire song is about. "all of my blind ambition left me deaf with perfect vision" She thought that it'd be perfect, that she found love and then its nothing whta she thought and she thinks how stupid she was. |

| I just recently heard this song of automaticjoy.com, i feel in love instantly, like with most of their songs. j'adore les Dresden Dolls.(i love the derden dolls) Amanda has a way with words that just can't be replicated. and to people who accuse her of just repeating songs and never changeing anything have obviously NEVER listened to more than 1 song. and the simplistics of piano and drum, wow. thats all i can say, wow. | |

Okay ready?!! This song to me is about binge eating. "gravity plays favorites i know it cause i saw"= Gravity weighs harder on larger people. And she saw the celeberties being skinny. "honest to god officer it's awful down at work i'm getting too familiar with the floor"= SHe thinks its horrible that shes fat. Getting familar with the floor could mean she lies down or hides to eat becuase most binge eaters hide when they eat. "Trading in my talents by the mouthful"=with every bite she takes shes working towards getting larger and as she gets larger its harder to move thus harder to work. "hate to break it to you but its out of my control forces go to work while we are sleeping if i could attack with a more sensible approach obviously thats what i'd be doing"= Binge eating is something that is uncontrollable typically and a lot of them end up sleep walking and eating then. Also they assosicate it with being something to help them with their problems hense the more sensabkle approch she wouldn't see one. "now necks are cracking sideways hit me from the back side i am on the white side you are on the black side cut a piece thats bite size shoot me from my good side if you got a straight line this would be a good time"= Too heavy of heads maybe, cut a peice thats bite size (obvious) Good side(doesn't think she has one). "the sky is always falling down on me so officer forgive me please!"= again sky gravity, and officer forgive me please could be reffering to 'fashion police' Well thats what i think at least. |
