| Rebecca left his just after the first album had started to get popular, which is why alot of the 2nd album songs are sung around there experiances and how he didn't want her to leave, but tbh, he brought it on himself, he was seen all around Newcastle hanging around with some blonde leggy groupie, but I think most of the songs are about how heartbroken he was over her going. Which is why you get the lines "I don't think she knew, How much I loved her." because he cheated on her, she's obviously not going to think that he loved her so much. And again with the "It was a test I failed," he failed not cheating on her, tbh this song always makes me feel sad because even though he cheated, he's like telling the world in his songs he was a git, it's kind of romantic. | |
