in my opinion this is about a love-hate relationship. the type where it hurts but feels good at the same time to be with that certain person. it's like a you can't live with them but you can't live without them. but this time the guy (or jesse could've wrote in the point of view of a girl but i'll say it's a guy) took it too far and did something really bad and he is willing to do anything to make her feel better. and she hates him for doing something bad but can't break up with him therefore this love-hate relationship is like a never ending cycle. If it makes you less sad I will die by your hand. I hope you find out what you are, I already know what I am. And if it makes you less sad we'll start talking again. You can tell me how vile I already know that I am. - he knows that she's angry at him and it would probably make her feel better to see him dead. and he knows that he's bad but he hopes that she finds out that she's just as bad or messed up as him. he also knows that it would make her feel better if they talked because they can't stand to be away from eachother but while they are talking all they can talk about is negative things. I'll grow old and start acting my age. I'll be a brand new day in a life that you hate. A crown of gold, a heart thats harder than stone and it hurts a whole lot but its missed when its gone. - the bad thing he did was probably immature so he's telling her he'll grow up. no matter how much you dislike your life doesn't mean that the world's going to stop and tomorrow isn't going to come and they both know that no matter how much she "hates" him he's always going to be around in her life. she's really precious to him but she's cold towards him and it hurts his feelings but when she's not around he misses her Call me a safe bet, I'm betting I'm not. Every picture you paint I will paint myself out. - this is him naming all the things he'd do for her to make her less sad even if it hurts him It's cold as a tomb and its dark in your room when I sneak to your bed to pour salt on your wounds. So call it quits or get a grip. You say you wanted a solution, you just wanted to be missed. - pouring salt on a wound is really painful it burns but i'm pretty sure salt kills bacteria so it also heals your wound too so i think he's trying to help her feel better but whil he's trying to help her he's hurting her too. he's telling her break up with him or face reality and face the fact that there is a price to pay if they're going to continue with this relationship. she told him she wanted to break up because it was the answer to their problematic relationship but he knows that she didn't really want to break up she just wanted him to miss her so maybe when they got back together he wouldn't take her for granted anymore Call me a safe bet, I'm betting I'm not. Now I'm not a saint but I'm not a sinner And everything's cool as long as I'm getting thinner my favorite part. her new demos sound a lot more mature but still like lily allen. i love how ironic her music is, the way her lyrics contrast with her high pitched cute voice it's hilarious i love it. |

i'm pretty sure this song is about a guy who's been in a hospital for awhile. he feels lonely and out of touch with the world and feels as if he's wasting away. the only thing that's helping him recover and feel alive is the girl he loves. i absolutley love this song and braxton is amazing |
